Training Programmes Overview
Fabrication & Welding TechniquesCourse Details:
This practical course covers essential techniques including MIG, TIG, and arc welding. Participants will learn how to read blueprints, operate welding equipment, and fabricate metal structures. The course emphasises safety, precision, and craftsmanship, making it perfect for anyone looking to start or advance in the welding industry. Format: In-Person, hands-on workshops held in a fabrication workshop. All materials and safety will be provided. Start Date(s): Saturday, June 8th & Saturday, June 15th, 2024. Classes will run from 10AM to 4PM. |
Software DevelopmentCourse Details:
This comprehensive course introduces the fundamentals of programming and software development. Participants will learn popular programming languages (such as Java and JavaScript), coding best practices, and how to build applications from scratch. By the end of the course, you will have developed your own software project. Format: Hybrid: Online theory classes combined with optional in-person coding workshops. Includes one-on-one mentorship and group coding sessions. Start Date: Monday, August 5th, 2024. Classes will be held from 10AM to 3PM every day for 5 consecutive days. |
Software TestingCourse Details:
This course introduces participants to manual and automated testing techniques used to ensure quality of software applications. You'll learn how to create test cases, execute testing plans, and identify bugs and usability issues. Participants will also gain experience with popular testing tools like Selenium and JUnit. Format: In person, hands-on sessions in a classroom environment. Start Date: Saturday, August 24th. Classes held on Saturdays from 11AM to 1PM for 6 weeks. |
